THE CICADA FORUMS
Welcome to CICADA; I'm the original creator, and this is my forum. I made it during
my university break, and it took about 1 week of solid work.
I'm not going to waste your time with an essay on why decentralization is the best
(you should've figured that our by now). Instead, I'm taking this time to jot down
some history & advice for you before I move onto my next project.
In aggregate, I really don't have a good reason for creating this site in the
first place; but I'm it's owner, and I get to decide how it works. My sole vision
for CICADA was to get people to talk - about your struggles, your ideas, your
hopes. Free speech is not just a right, but a god-given purpose of humanity. To
speak is to breathe, and progress will always naturally follow.
I believe we live in a time where we don't respect that power anymore.
Even if I'm the only visitor of this site, and even if it slowly dies or gets
replaced, I don't think my attempt was in vain. For so long as you have an idea to
share, we'll fight to the death to hear it.
